Chrome Book - Is this the Future??

Ok Acer just announced starting Today they will start selling a their Acer C7 Chromebook for a low low $199. If you ever considered getting a Chromebook with this price how can you say no?? Here is what you get 11.6’’ (1366x768) display ■1 inch thin – 3 lbs / 1.4 kg ■3.5 hours of battery1 ■Intel® Core™ processor ■100 GB Google Drive Cloud Storage2 with 320 GB Hard Disk Drive ■Dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Ethernet ■HD Camera ■3x USB 2.0 ■1x HDMI Port, 1x VGA port

As you can see you not only do you get 320GB hard drive but you also get 100GB of Cloud storage free for 2 years. I must say im not truly convinced of the Chromebook but with everything being in the cloud why not?? The Chromebook uses google Chrome OS and is all web based. It pretty much a big android phone so we have all these apps that help with our productivity so it should be a easy move right?? Google Docs take the place of your Office Suite and can do all those things and with google drive you can save all you docs in the cloud and pull them up where ever you have an internet connection. No more leaving your stuff at home and not have access.

Music can be streamed using any of the many internet based services out there like Pandora, Slacker, Rdio, IHeart Radio as well as your Google Music collection. Photo editing can be done with apps out there. I sure hope Santa gets me this for Christmas (wink wink) to the wife :-) and then i can do a more indepth review of these Chromebooks for you guys and see if its the wave of the Future.

For more info please see the link below. http://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/devices/acer-c7-chromebook.html#overview

Galaxy Note 2 my impressions

Well I finally pulled the trigger and went and got me the Galaxy Note 2 from T-Mobile. And I have to say I am loving this phone.I thought it would be too big but after using it now for a week It does not seem that big. First it's light and thin so although its big with a 5.5 inch screen it not bulky. Having that quad core in there makes it fast and with it running jelly bean it is buttery smooth. All the apps on there run fast with no hiccups and the included apps that the phone came with are awesome. All the features are great and work well for a person that's very artistic or for someone that that is work orientated like me.

Love the feature where you can cut any picture out with your Spen and either email it or send it as a text message. Taking screen shots are so easy by holding down the SPen button and the pen to the screen for a couple seconds and there you have it a screen shot that you can write on and share with all your friends, either facebook or messaging. I find myself sending more emails and messages because i can make notes on a photo before i send it. The air view feature is great to look at pictures and videos but i really dont find myself using it that often. I do however like how the gallery for your photo's has options to view them either the classic way, time line or the lovely spiral view see pics below

Lets talk Camera and Video. The phone takes awesome pictures with a ton of functions to make it awesome. For fast moving shots try the burst shot that will take 6 shots at once, best faces also takes a few shot at once so you can as you can imagine use the best faces to come up with an awesome photo. You have paranorma, low light mode, and the one i love is where you can use your voice to say "smile" and the camera takes the shot.

Video is the usual suspects apart from the awesome Slow Motion mode. Here you can make some great slow motion movies simply by selecting "slow Motion" and start shooting. Its great to show to your friends.

Ok for sure when you first show off this phone you will get the usual reactions of how big this phone is, but once they hold it and start to play with it a little you came to see how smooth it runs and how fast the apps pull up and run with out a hiccup. 20 mins later after they finally give you back your phone they are really considering getting one also. My brother in-law who has always been a apple wanna be fan boy and loves his ITunes and is always fine tuning it told me that after seeing this phone he is really thinking of jumping on the Android band wagon. And thats a Big wow if anyone knows him. Two days ago he told me he signed up for a google account and started putting his music collection up to Google Music. Just so he can get ready for his eventual move to the Galaxy Note 2 .

Battery Life - Well with a 3100Mah battery you get a full day of regular use and i find myself not having to charge my phone during the day (it is a very hard habit to break) I keep a charger in my office because i am so used to everytime im in there to just plug it in and charge it, same goes for when i'm in the car and plugging it in. I have attached a screen shot of my battery usage where i am at almost 14 hours with the phone off the charger and i still have 53% of my battery left so as you can see you can make a full day easy.

Anyway with all these features on this phone i would be here all day talking about stuff so if there is anything you want me to cover drop me a comment or shoot me an email and i will cover it in another post so for now seeya.

XBOX Smartglass and Microsoft Ecosystem

I must say I was a little hesitant about this new smart glass tech that Microsoft came out with but now that it's here and I actually used it I think I might have to rethink this Microsoft ecosystem.

First off I was a beta tester for the new xbox 360 update so for weeks I have been playing with the features like Internet Explorer on the xbox and it worked well, it was smooth and fluid not to mention having a 60 inch monitor to surf the Web is just plain awesome. But to have to use the 360 controller was sort of a pain. Well with the release of the new Windows 8 operating system here comes all the cool things for their ecosystem such as the smartglass app for android.

mind you I have only played with it for a day and have to say I am impressed not only can it work over your home wireless network but you can also use it over other networks such as your cellular connection. It just works, mind you its not as smooth as if it were on your home network but it works just the same. Scrolling through Web pages zoom in and out on your Android phone, type in Web pages on your phone and it shows up on the xbox, let's not forget if you have a kinect (like I do) just say 'xbox' and there a lot of voice controls you can use also. If you have an xbox 360 I say jump on there and download the latest version of the software and have some fun oh xbox live membership is needed for these functions of course.

With all these functions working so well it makes me think about all the cool hardware that is coming out such as the Nokia Lumia 920 and the new Surface Tablets from Microsoft. So I went back looked at the Nokia 920 keynote as well as some Surface reviews on YouTube and have to say it has me really thinking about giving Microsoft a shot in the coming year. I remember when Android was in this stage, when they only had so many apps in their app store but look at them now. So this might be a new beginning for Microsoft and their line. And with the ecosystem of Windows 8 I just want to see how they deal with future updates. And let's hope we don't have to wait months for the a release of the most recent software like we do now for Android, that's what really bugs me about android.

Anyway enough ranting for one day look out for more posts coming soon.

RIM recently had their Blackberry 10 Keynote telling us all about the new Blackberry 10 OS and all of its new features and after watching it i have to say i am intrigued. I have attached the video of them demonstrating some of the features that are to come with their upcoming release.

The "Flow" is what they talk about the most as well as the ability to "Peek" from any screen and get back to the main hub. Blackberry 10 is hoped to launch early 2013. What do you think?? Is that too late for Rim?? After everyone has just spent all their money buying up Apple and Samsung tech for the Holidays?? Are they going to care when it comes out??

But check below for a full description of the show to come out October 10th 2012, check your local listings for the time. 10.10.2012

Arrow is a modern retelling of the adventures of legendary DC hero Green Arrow. After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he's become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow - a vigilante - to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be - flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle - while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel's father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver's own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on - and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine. The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance. Fox to sell Digital HD movies three weeks ahead

Ok so Fox with its new DHD initiative (Digital HD )will focus on getting DHD movies out to you 3 weeks ahead of Discs and Video on Demand. Not to mention at a reasonable price of $15. This is an awesome step towards going totally digital which i can see happening in the future (My future is Now<---I'm already copying all my media to hard drives).

According to the studio when this kicks off September 18th, it will make more than 600 films available across stores including Amazon, CinemaNow, iTunes, PlayStation, VUDU and Xbox. Prometheus is also Fox's first UV title and its first new release under the DHD program, but if you prefer your digital movies in another format, it looks like you'll be able to get them.

Prometheus will be the first Movie from this studio and will be available to add to your UltraViolet Account. For all of you out there that don't Know what UltraViolet is this is the next step in the Digital age where all your Movies and Tv Shows will all be housed on the Ultraviolet Servers and will be able to stream to any computer, smart phone, tablet, gaming device and laptops at any time. You buy content and it's yours forever to be in your collection. You can download movies at any time for use on your devices for offline use (If you are going on a trip where there is no internet connection). There are alot of companies getting on board with this process including VUDU, amazon, google play amd many more. If you have old DVD's Walmart even has a service that will convert your Movies to Digital. Standard Definition will cost you $2.00 per disc and an HD movie will be $5.00. You might think its a little high in price but think about it, you will never have to worry about scratching your movies and of course no matter where you are as long as you have an internet connection you have access to your movie collection.

I think thats the right step in the Future. What do you think??

iPhone 5 Impressions <---Your Thoughts / Commentary

Ok now that the iPhone 5 is out and we know what all the spec's are what are your thoughts?? From a company that is supposed to be in the forefront of Innovation and had always seemed to be leading the pack when it came to new features. Does the iPhone 5 leave you feeling let down??

Do all these new features already exist in Android phones? Windows Phones?? What's Missing?? NFC?? Wireless Charging??.

Tell me your thoughts, comments, gribes on this subject below.

Verizon Customers - No more UNLIMITED DATA

Sad to say for all my Verizon customers out there but straight from the mouth of Verizon's CEO at a recent investor conference "Unlimited is just a word, it doesn't really mean anything." Meaning that they are pushing these new Shared Data plans. If you have been on Verizon for a few years now and were lucky enough to have been grandfathered in on the Unlimited Data for $30 a month your choices are as follows.

1 - If you upgrade to a new phone and renew your contract for another 2 years to subsidize the cost of that awesome new smart phone then you will have to pick one of the shared data plans that the company now offers so Smartphone + $40 Basic Phone + $30 Verizon Jetpack USB Modem + $20 Tablet + $10 Unlimited Talk & Text with 1GB Shared Data $50/month Monthly Account AccessUnlimited Talk & Text with 2GB Shared Data $60/month Monthly Account AccessUnlimited Talk & Text with 4GB Shared Data $70/month Monthly Account AccessUnlimited Talk & Text with 6GB Shared Data $80/month Monthly Account AccessUnlimited Talk & Text with 8GB Shared Data $90/month Monthly Account AccessUnlimited Talk & Text with 10GB Shared Data $100/month

2. To keep the Unlimited Data for $30 a month buy a Unsubsidized phone (off contract full price) and just activate it and nothing chances...yeahhh!!. You have to calculate do you save money on the long run after you just bought a $500 or $600 phone??

Do you even go through that much data?? for some people that use their phone on a daily basis for Voice, email, texts, GPS and as a hotspot you might want to stick with the Grandfathered price. But really for most regular comsumers do you go through 2 GB a month?? That is another consideration when making this choice. Go online check you r accoun to really see how much you use each month and calculate out the price difference if you were to switch to the shared data plan. In the end as we always say it comes down to each individual person and their usage.

T-Mobile Zero down Magenta Sale going on Now

From Sept 21-Sept 30, this promo will allow customers to pick up any device for a net cost of $0 after signing up for a qualifying Unlimited Value and Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data (Unlimited, 5GB or 10GB) plans and sending a mail-in rebate. Yes really a mail-in rebate so its not really a Zero dowm you will still have to pony up some money when you go into the store and it all depends on the phone you decide to get. Example the lovely Galaxy S3 will be $149 out of pocket and then you will recieve a $150. rebate which in the end will be $.00 Zero right?? You just have to waith for it to come in the mail. HTC's One S will be $49.00 out of pocket and a $50 Mail in rebate. Alone with all the phone in the store so you can check those out. Also don't forget that there will also be a $20. Monthly payment installment on your monthly bill....its not free free after all.

IOS 6 and YouTube

Ok fans for all of you that have any IOS devices you should know that when you upgrade you will loose the YouTube App that was on there. I have and iPad 2 and silly me downloaded the new software update so i could feeel involved. Well I did it right before i went to work and did not have any time to play around with it much. Only to find out later on that my kids who are avid fans of Youtube <---Littlest Pet Shop videos call to ask me what I did. I had no clue until i got home and did some research and it gone by Apple. Something to do with Google buying Youtube and Apple doesnt want Google things on their phone, bla bla bla bla bla.

Any how there are a few apps out there that will do what you need but the simplest way is probably just to book mark the website in safari and be done with it. If you know of any bugs or something that irks you please feel free to comment below.

Are you thinking of getting a New Phone Soon??

Ok so I have been talking to a few of my friends and Co-workers and i seem to hear alot of them thinking about getting a new phone. Of course being the Tech Guy at work they ask my opinion....Kidding not just Tech Guy <---Tech Genius :-)

So i tell them just to wait it out for a little longer they are so many announcements, some that have already happened and we know they are coming but just waiting on pricing and dates of release.

Lets Break down your choices so far. iPhone 5 alot of people have been waiting for this one, new design, bigger screen, LTE and IOS 6. Its thinner, its faster (faster than the 4S), great camera and they finally have a somewhat decent navigation (by the way android has had navi for awhile now). All great things but if you're like me and expected more from the company that is know for theu innovation then you might want to think about jumping on the Android train or even Windows.

Android phones a few making waves right now are Samsung GS3 a great all around phone with great speed, great camera, NFC, easy share with friends and loks really nice. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 recently announced said to hit the US before the end of the year. This phone of course begs the age old question "Is it too big?" I've spoken to this in previous post so you can check that out but with a Quad Core at 1.6 Ghz 2 GB RAM and the SPen. If you are into productivity and or creativity on the Go then you might want to look into this one. Motorola and their RAZOR line of phone seems to be getting some hype so you might want to check those out too.

Now the "New" kids on the block Windows Phone 8. Both Nokia and HTC recently revealed their line up of this Holiday Season and they look sleek if you are into bold color and like to be noticed then there you go, with this phone at your ear you are sure to turn some head and have them wondering "what phone is that?" If you are in the mood for something different then you might think of getting one of these. Nokia seems to have some cool innovations with their camera and of course you should'nt have to worry about them getting sued :-)

So what would i do? I would stay tuned here on my blog because i will be posting all release information, including when, where and how much. So you can make a well informed decision and not regret your purchase after you extended your contract for 2 more years.

Anyway if you have any thought or comments please feel free to insert comments below .

HTC's Windows Phone 8X and 8S

Ok So HTC had their announcement in NYC to to launch their 2 new Windows Phone 8 phones they are Windows Phone 8X and 8S. The 8X will be the top of the line model which is pictured above and will boast a 4.3 Inch Super LCD 2 display with Gorilla Glass. Dual-Core 1.5 Ghz S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB on board storage which from my understanding is not expandable, 1800mAh battery (which is unremoveable), this phone will have all the regular radio bands an LTE for the US.

Its sports a full body color with accents of that color in the earpiece as well comes in California Blue, Graphite Black, Flame Red and Limelight Yellow, 8MP camera on the front able to record at 1080p and of course has beats audio with a built in amplifer. Not much on the OS as yet as Microsoft will have another press event to delve more into the OS and announce their Own Windows Phone probaly.

On to the Other model the 8S. This phone has little lower specs and they are 4 inch Super LCD display, dual-core S4 processor clocked at 1Ghz with 512MB RAM, 1700mAh battery. It will have a 5MP camera cabable of shooting 720p res videos it comes in a nice Two-tone Polycarbonate body. It however does not have a front facing camera. You can expect this Mid Range phone and its Big Brother to be available early November of course right on time for the Holiday season.

Wow so many choices this Holiday Season I'll be making my wish list and hopefully Santa will know that i've been a good boy this year and bring me something nice :-)

I will post more photo's as soon as i get some more. Stay tuned.

My Boxee Box (Media Set Top Box)

Hey everyone. I talk to my friends alot about my movie collection and seeing as I had a lot i started to look for new ways to manage my collection. It started with DVD's and amassed a nice collection, then came Blurays and then i started collecting those. As you can imagine it started to take up space, so being the tech person (nerd) that i am i started to search the web for a way to house my collection digitally. I started off with a Western Digital (WD) media box to play files on my tv, it was ok and played back nearly everything that i threw at it but it had a very plain UI (user interface) all it had was a last of the files on my hard drive.

So my search continued until i found the Boxee Box, it had all that i needed 2 USB ports, HDMI out for my HD TV, a slew of great apps including Netflix and VUDU and not to mention a great UI experience. It breaks my Movies and TV Shows into differnet catigories not to mention it goes online and searches for all the Meta Data for my shows and Movies and displays it nicely with Movie cover and description and for some of the newer movies it will even have Trailers.

So now when i have friends come over i love showing off my movie collection which sits on 3 external hard drives 2 - 2TB drives to house my movies currently at around 620 movies most of which is in 1080p quality and another 1TB drive that house my TV Shows Collection including all seasons of Smallville and Charmed if you want to stop by and Catch up :-)

And like i said it has a bunch of app that you can use

Netflix and you can add reposotories to add even more channels. With this box I can truly cut the cable line and solely use Boxee Box and still catch all my shows and movies while only needing an internet connection (wired or wireless by the way)And they recently relased an adapter called Boxee Live TV which plugs into one of the USB ports and you can have Live tv. So there thats my setup and I am loving it watch any of my movies or TV shows with out having to go through DVD cases and such.

If you have any questions or need help setting up your collection drop me a line I would love to help. until next time

Galaxy Note 2 ??? (video)

Ok I just watched this video on some of the features of the new Galaxy Note 2 that should be coming by the end of the year hopefully and I have to say that I am really considering getting this phone. It's going to have a 5.5 inch screen with super Amoled screen. Quad core 1.6 Ghz and a 3100 Mah battery not to mention the s-pen that helps make productivity easier. Ok for the regular consumers you are thinking "man that's big" "I'm going to look foolish hold that big thing to my ear" Well most of us there use a Bluetooth head set right? So that solves the problem of putting to your ear. I think productivity is the key seller for this unit, going to meetings? Use the handwriting tool on there that transcribes your handwriting to text. You and write with the S Pen on nearly all screens do cut outs of anything. Come on watch the video and tell me that's not cool? And that's just a few of the features in the video. Quad Core? In a phone? Are you kidding me? My home PC is a quad core. So imagine that power in the palm of your hands? Phablet? If you're like me and my kids take up my iPad all the time when I need it not to mention all these apps that they have on there? This will be perfect for work and play. Let me know what you think? Is it too big? Can you see yourself using it? Leave some comments below.

My thoughts on the New Ipods

First let me say that I have never owned an iphone I moved from Black Berry to Android and I have been an android user ever since. Currently I have a Galaxy S2 rooted and running Jelly Bean with most of the things that are in the Galaxy S3 due to ports and Roms. I really thought about getting an iphone if it blew my mind. But after seeing the specs and what it had to offer I decided to skip this one as it was not as good as what my android can do.
Siri? I don't think I would use it.
Then a little further on in the keynote they announced the new Ipods and I have to say I am really planning on getting one of the ipod touches for me and a ipod nano for my daughter for what it does its awesome. Truth be told I have an ipad and have no issues with it. The only problem I have is not being able to use it as much as I would like since my two kids always want to be on their either playing games, watching YouTube or Netflix. Too bad they are so expensive too, but but I am thinking of getting another tablet but ill talk about that in another post.

Ok Ipod Nano $149. Has a Brand new design that sports a 2.5 Inch Multi Touch display, comes in a variety of colors. Handles Music, Videos, FM Radio tuner built in, Bluetooth 4.0 built in so you can connect to bluetooth speakers, head phones and your car stero with ease. Photos can also be viewed on there, the entire iTunes Store is available so all your music, movies and and audio books are available. Not to mention its super thin and looks great.

Itouch will run you $299.00 for the 32GB version and $399 for the 64GB version Some of the features you will have is the new iSight Camera and that lets you take the best shots, facebook integration, SIRI, play games and of course the iTunes store and all it has to offer.

4 Inch Retina Display just like on the iPhone 5, the ability to take panorama pictures, edit pictures and movies on the touch, Dual Core A5 chip great for gaming and battery life.Airplay will be available also so you can share what you have on your apple TV or On a Boxee Box too. Air Play Mirroring also works so you can play games on the big screen and take on friends. Bluetooth 4.0 so speakers, headphones and compatible car stero's are a go.

So which one are you interested in?? Leave a comment and let me know

I phone 5

Okay so I know I have been gone for a long time but with the holiday season closely approaching and all the great gadgets they're coming out I have to get back on here so let's get to it.

We're going to start off with iphone 5 everybody was expecting more something breakthrough but all that is the bigger phone little bit faster and of course since it's Apple thinner.

For all you Apple lovers out there if that's what you were expecting then great for you for me who is an Android user I was expecting more something that I couldn't live without something I just had to have. But from the eyes of us regular consumer it's something that I can do without nothing urgent.

okay that's enough rambling for now I promise that I'll be on here some more so until next time.

Samsung Galaxy Note - Is it too big??

"The Samsung GALAXY Note is the first phone to go over the 5-inch screen mark with its 5.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of the whopping 800 x 1280 pixels (WXGA), resulting in pixel density of 285ppi. It also stands out with its built in stylus and apps supporting pen input. Under the hood, a Samsung 1.4GHz dual-core chip powers Android 2.3 Gingerbread skinned with TouchWiz. The Galaxy Note also sports an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of 1080p video recording, while up front there is a 2-megapixel shooter".

Those are the specs for the upcoming Galaxy note. Here we are where most people think my phone (The Galaxy S2) is huge and along comes the 'Note" what are they going to say to that?? Damn that things huge??. I must say that the spec's are nice and i am sure they might even get better by the time this "little" thing gets to us State side as we saw with the Galaxy S2. You can bet there will be 4 touch sensitive buttons along the bottom instead of the one large home button. Samsung has already said that they would be releasing ICS for the note so not to worry.

As they say what is old will become new again and here we see it in the stylus. Here i thought that gone were the day of the old Palm hand helds with the stylus and that we had moved on to complete touch screens. But i guess really there is only so much you can do with the tips of your fingers. The functionality of the stylus looks great and they even have a couple games pre-installed on the note that takes advantage of the stylus. So will you want a "Note " in your pocket this year?? Does this replace your need to carry both a tablet and a phone??
please feel free to leave your comments and thought at the bottom
Thx

Change of Phone and Carrier

Well as with all of us we are all trying to save a penny here and a penny there so to do that i decided to switch carriers and move from Big Red to TMO. After much debate and asking the opinion of some friends I found myself at T-Mobile.

Went from the Droid Bionic to the great Galaxy S2. Man this phone is a nice, so fast and boots up quickly. It packs a dual core 1.5 Ghz, 1GB Ram and comes with 16 Gigs of on board storage. SO i dropped my 32 gig micro sd card and im good to go. Blazing fast no issues, well apart from the touch whiz which on this phone is not so bad and there are a few trick with this phone like the tilt to move and voice talk which allows you to do almost everything on the phone with just talking to it. You can even wake it up by either tapping the top of the phone or saying "hi Galaxy" it then prompts you to say a command. It's awesome and really comes in handy when driving.

OK i always tell myself with every new phone that i will not root it and i usually hold out for a few weeks but with my friends getting the Galaxy Nexus i was compelled to Root it and get ICS on there which i did. Not the full ICS experience but close enough some of the best elements of it anyway like swipe to clear notifications, text messaging , the cool blue colors and the Roboto fonts. Needless to say i'm cool with this phone and although my friends will laugh in my face when i say i see myself hanging on to this phone for a good while i really do believe i can hold out but then again only time will tell.

Back Again

Well its been a long time and I have not been doing what i said I would but thats what New Years Resolutions are for. So starting now i promise to keep this site updated.

Well what has happened in the past few months?? Galaxy Nexus has come and gone and everyone else is stuck waiting for the release of Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) we were all promised that after the release of the code that within a few months we would see it trickle out to the rest of phones but as we all know how that goes. We hear first quarter so of course that means by April OMG, i have to say that's one thing Apple has up on android is when they have an update it goes out to all on the same day no waiting around.

Another thing i'm worrying about is when we do eventually get the ICS update it wont look as clean and polished as the Galaxy Nexus but with all this skinning and overlay like Touch Whiz, Blurr, and Sense. I thought this Version was to bring all together?? There is a leaked version of ICS for the European version of ICS for the Galaxy S2 and from the Youtube videos that I have seen it still looks like Touch Whiz, granted this is the leaked version and hopefully some of that will change. I do hope however that they keep the face unlock feature.

Well that's enough ranting for one post i should save some for the next .....until next time
